Terrible: Kampala Doctor Dies Leaving Behind List of 782 Women He Infected With Aids

This should send shock waves all around! A Kampala doctor with a negative sense of preserving human life has died, leaving behind a list of 782 women and girls he infected with Aids in the last few years of his life. Dr. Byarugaba was running a clinic in Nakulabye, a Kampala suburb.

He died last week and was buried in Kanungu district in Western Uganda.

A friend of the dead doctor has revealed to 256news.com that the doctor suffered with Aids for over five years. Days before he died, Dr. Byarugaba called his friend and told him how he had infected almost every female patient who went to his clinic, either to abort or for other forms of medical care. He also disclosed that he had infected hundreds of other women in Kampala most of whom are in night clubs, bars, hotels and restaurants.

The doctor would reportedly sedate his victims with chloroform, have sex with them and then let them go. Some of them do not even know they were infected, the friend of the doctor has revealed.

For us at 256news.com, this is terrible news. For 782 ‘innocent’ people to get infected with Aids just like that shows that people have different hearts in this world and Aids is following us everywhere.

Uganda has a bad Aids record with about 1million people out of the 30million population having the disease but this only appears to be the official figure. Very many people have never tested for the incurable disease which makes it probable that more millions have it but are not known and they keep on spreading the disease any one.

This report comes at a time Uganda is considering a Bill to punish spreaders of Aids. Under the HIV and AIDS Prevention and Control Bill 2009, spreading the disease knowingly will become a criminal offence.

Anybody who willfully and intentionally transmit the disease faces a fine of sh4.8m or imprisonment of up to 10 years or both.

An attempt to transmit the disease is also a crime under the new bill and could attract a fine of sh240, 000 or imprisonment of up to five years or both.

However, a person transmitting the virus will not be convicted if the other person was aware of the partner’s HIV status and voluntarily accepted the risk of infection.

Dr. Byarugaba’s case is a classic example of serial mass murder; as he knew his status but went on to share it out to innocent patients whom he would rape after knocking them unconscious. This effectively gets them underway to the slowest painful death mankind has ever known. How unkind!

The list of Dr. Byarugaba’s victims is contained in an exercise book where he would register their names and phone numbers.

We intend to release this list after some consultations.
