MPs are now demanding that the 2 ministers who resigned yesterday should be ordered to pay back the tax payers money.

Syda Bumba and Kidhu Makubuya bowed to pressure from the MPs and quit their cabinet positions over their roles in the controversial payments in billions of shillings to Kampala businessman, Hassan Bassajjabalaba.

MP Gerald Karuhanga says that the implicated ministers should also be prosecuted and their properties confiscated
