Public moves in to Block mps car scheme

A concerned citizen has lodged an application before a Kampala court seeking its orders to temporarily block the purchase of cars for Members of Parliament until the main suit is heard and disposed of.

The Parliamentary Commission is to remit 103 million shillings to each MP to purchase cars.

The suit against the Parliamentary Commission and the Attorney General (AG) has been filed by Wilson Mwesigye at the constitutional Court.
