More Congolese enter Uganda through kanungu.

More than one hundred Congolese refugees have entered Uganda through kanungu district. The hundreds of refugees entered the country through kisoro as they fled the humanitarian situation in the DRC.

The government has failed to get the exact number of the refugees as most of them are using the porous borders to gain access into the country.

Security has banned any refugee from coming in with fire arms.

23 reception centers have been set up to isolate the sick children in order for them to access treatment.

State minister in charge of relief and disaster preparedness Musa Echweru says the government is organizing to relocate the refugees to Orukinga and Nakivale refugee settlement
