“We have had calls from various African countries asking how they can support the cause and be part of it,” Stanley told Word Is, “Big Brother winner Wendall is starting a fundraising for the cause and we are planning on starting an anti jigger campaign in Ghana come early 2012.”

“Many of them realized that they also have the same issue of jiggers being a menace in their countries and I hope the visit will go along way in eradicating it,” Stanley concluded.

The campaign was also over the weekend feted at the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) Awards gala night at KWS, where Stanley was named the 2011’s marketing warrior for championing the anti-jigger campaign in East Africa.
